L10NPro 2.0
Managing the extensive amount of information involved in a localization project is a complex undertaking.
At any given moment, a project's components can be in one of 10 different stages being localized into one
of 70 different languages. Localization project managers typically have years of experience in the
industry, however, for the clients, finding information on a specific component in a specific language
quickly can be a headache.
As L10N continues to evolve, workflow management tools have become indispensable
for keeping clients up to date with the most current information on their localization
projects.
CSOFT recognized this need and has developed L10NPro 2.0.
L10NPro 2.0 is a portal accessible by both our project managers and the client's
project managers. Access and privileges are set by the client so that they are in
control of who has access to what information.
The L10NPro 2.0 enables clients
to view and manage all aspects of their localization projects:
- Project name, ID, and schedule requirements
- Organize contact information for involved personnel of each project
- Manages project components and languages
- Helps project managers manage action items and tasks such as handoff, review, and
delivery
- Able to project related file exchange such as downloadable translation kits, review
comments, and delivery files
- Multi-threaded design to allow several vendors to work on different components of
a single project
- Statistical data based upon language, component, phase, or project
