Localization Methodology

CSOFT follows strict ISO 9000 practice throughout our localization practice, from initial project requirement assessment, project planning, to progress tracking and oversight and final quality assurance. In addition to using industry standards, our localization methodologies also place great emphasis on people, technology, process and professional project management.

People
CSOFT boasts a highly experienced and dedicated team of professional translators, L10N engineers, multilingual publishers, QA professionals and project managers who take great pride in delivering quality work during each phase of a localization project. We insist on using in-country native translators to provide the highest quality translations. Our L10N engineers and testers are specially trained to work with a variety of systems and language platforms. CSOFT's multilingual publishers are experienced with both online and printed documentation publishing in every language. And our project managers excel in project planning, organization and communication skills.

Technology
We emphasize the use of good technology to improve our service quality and efficiency. All CSOFT translations are conducted with the assistance of TM and terminology management tools to improve consistency, accuracy and efficiency. We use QA tools to complement our testing of localized materials to systematically verify and compare the source and target files for issues that are not easily discernible by human engineers. Our project managers employ project management tools to plan, schedule, update and track all aspects of a project to guarantee timely project deliveries.

Process
We emphasize the use of proven and repeatable localization processes to improve our service consistency, efficiency and overall quality. All of our localization projects are carried out following a well defined workflow with each task clearly identified before kicking off a project.
